Bringing Malta's IT Family together

Ever felt like you're navigating the fast-paced tech world solo here in Malta? Our founder, Philip B Cortis, certainly did. For too long, Malta's growing tech scene was missing something crucial: a dedicated, local (but international) gathering where IT pros could truly connect, learn from each other, and discuss challenges face-to-face. Online fora and webinars are great, but sometimes, you just need to talk it out with someone who gets it (IT – see what we did there?).

With over 30 years of hands-on experience in IT and a mission to make technology work better for businesses, Philip saw this gap. He realised that if the kind of vibrant, supportive tech community he knew was needed didn't exist locally, then someone had to step up and build it. And so CTRL+ESC is here to create a space where Malta's IT & international community can escape the noise, and find solutions together.

This isn't just another conference: it's Malta's pioneering IT community event – a place to bring our island's tech talent together. A chance to exchange stories, share those hard-earned lessons that only come from experience, get reassurance from peers, and build a real network of techie friends right here at home. And its also a chance to rub shoulders with internally renowned experts.
